What is the difference between GEO, AEO and LLMO?
At their core these are different names for the same goal: getting your company to appear in the answers of AI search engines. GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization, AEO for Answer Engine Optimization, LLMO for Large Language Model Optimization. We use GEO as the umbrella term.
Can you do GEO without classic SEO?
No. AI search engines draw their answers largely from pages that already rank well on Google. Solid SEO is the foundation; GEO builds on it, for example with clearly answered questions, clean structure and sourced statements.
In which services can my company appear?
In the answers of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini. Each service selects its sources a little differently, so we measure visibility per service separately.
Can AI visibility be measured?
Within limits, yes. We regularly check whether and how your company is mentioned for defined questions across the major AI services, and track how it develops. There is no guarantee of being mentioned, because the services keep changing their selection.
