Web design

Professional web design gets understood. By customers, by Google, by AI.

Your website answers exactly the questions your customers are asking. And we build it so that search engines and AI understand it too.

Villach, Austria. We work with clients across the German-speaking region.

Three websites we built, side by side: konerio on the monitor, AHR Rechtsanwälte on the tablet, trainCo on the phone

When a website needs to be reworked

It does not show up in AI answers

Ask ChatGPT or Perplexity about your services and competitors get named instead. AI systems increasingly decide who gets the enquiry.

The structure follows the org chart

The menu mirrors how the company is organised internally. Visitors are looking for answers and only find them after several clicks.

Every change needs the agency

A new team photo? Changed prices? If every one of those small jobs means raising a ticket with your agency, your own website is holding you back. What should take two minutes turns into tedious waiting — with an invoice for the mini-support on top. Real flexibility looks different. A site built for today is simple enough that you handle these everyday things yourself.

Visibility

Being found in search and in AI answers

A website has two audiences: people at a search engine, and AI assistants. Both need a clear structure.

What counts in search

Every page focuses on one term your customers actually type. Headings build on each other logically, images carry descriptions. That is search engine optimisation (SEO), and it starts while the site is being built.

What counts in AI answers

AI systems quote content they can grasp unambiguously. That takes precise answers, structured data (Schema.org) and machine-readable formats. Through an interface of our own (MCP), assistants query our content directly.

Why these belong together

Structure your content so AI systems can quote it, and the groundwork for classic search is done as well. One clean structure covers both worlds at once.

This website as a visitor sees it in the browser: heading, text and image.

Some of our projects

Live and running

trainCo

Client

Training institute, two decades in the market

Task

Translate professional expertise into a clear presence

What we built

Website and editing system for in-house upkeep

Status

live

trainco.at, a website we built, on a phone held by a passenger on the underground.

A new presence for an institute running courses and corporate training. Structure and design were reworked from the ground up, and the content sits in an editing system that is simple to operate.

ahr-recht.at, the law firm website we built.

ahr-recht, Law firm

A new web presence for the Viennese law firm AHR-Recht – Rechtsanwälte in Kooperation. As independent lawyers, Mag. Peter Aburg and Mag. Martin Huemer together with Mag. Gerold A. Rauscher, LL.M. and Mag. Pavel Bachleda, LL.M. represent a wide range of clients across civil, corporate and property law — private individuals and companies alike.

How a website comes about with us

Step 01

Understand

We look at what your customers are searching for. From that comes the list of questions the website has to answer.

Step 02

Architecture

Before the first layout comes the structure: what belongs together, and in which order it gets read.

Step 03

Build

We develop with Next.js and add an editing system (headless CMS) that you operate without technical knowledge.

Step 04

Check

We test the mobile view (responsive web design), accessibility to WCAG 2.2, and how readable the site is for search engines and AI assistants.

Step 05

Operate

After launch we take care of maintenance, security updates and extensions.

Standard on every site

You manage the content yourself

As an experienced web design agency we rely on an editing system hosted in the EU. You change content on your own, with no waiting.

Accessible to WCAG 2.2

Contrast, keyboard operation and labelling are anchored in the foundation, not added afterwards.

Readable for search engines and assistants

Our web design agency delivers structured data (Schema.org) and a machine-readable interface along with it.

Several languages from one source

German and English are fed from the same source. There is no duplicate content to keep in step.

Lean code without plugin ballast

Instead of stuffing your site with dozens of plugins the way WordPress or Joomla do, we keep the system extremely lean. That keeps your website fast to load, secure and easy to maintain for the long run.

Operated in the EU

Hosting in Austria and Germany, GDPR-compliant, including backups and monitoring.

Clients in Austria and Germany

We are based in Villach, and we run projects across Austria and the German-speaking region. Whether that means Carinthia, Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Styria or Burgenland: the work runs smoothly on screen — and in person at your place when it needs to.

Whether that means web design in Tyrol, Salzburg or Linz, in Upper Austria, Styria or Vorarlberg: the distance makes no difference to how we work together.

A map of Austria and Germany: dashed lines run from Villach to the places where our clients are based.

Your project. The factors.

Every website is different. These four points set the scope:

Amount of content

A simple one-pager is built faster than a large presence with 20 subpages. What counts is not just the number of pages, though, but how much work goes into the underlying structure. Reordering your content from scratch, breaking it up so it reads well and building a menu people understand (information architecture) takes considerably longer than dropping in finished text.

Special features

A plain calling card on the web is quick to build. But if your website is to hand out customer appointments automatically, offer protected areas or send data to your own software (interfaces, or APIs), the effort goes up. Extras like these save you a great deal of working time day to day, but during development they call for precise settings and testing.

Material at hand

The better prepared your material is, the faster we get on. Are high-resolution photos, finished texts and your logo there and in order? Or do we have to replace old images, rewrite text and prepare brand elements (assets) first? When those building blocks have to be created from scratch, that time goes straight into the groundwork.

Ongoing support

After launch (go-live) you decide how it continues. Do you want to adjust content such as text or photos entirely on your own after a short briefing? Or do you hand the ongoing technical care to us (maintenance and security updates), so your site stays protected and fast? You choose between a one-off build and continuous support.

Questions before a project starts

Can I manage the content myself?

Yes. You maintain text and images yourself in an editing system, without technical knowledge.

How is this different from a website builder?

Builders work from rigid templates. We develop the structure individually around your content, for maximum speed.

How long does a relaunch take?

Manageable web presences take a few weeks, complex portals accordingly longer.

Will my site be found in AI answers?

With structured data and clear answers we create the technical precondition for it.

Where is my data held?

In Austria and Germany. We operate the editing system ourselves, and the content stays under your control.

What happens after launch?

We keep the system current and secure, or hand it over with instructions you can follow.
